Who we are
kianlocks Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, operating the website at kianlocks.com. We are the data controller for any personal information you provide to us.
What we collect
When you call or email us to book a job we collect: your name, contact number or email, the address where work is to be carried out, and a description of the work needed. After the job we hold a copy of the invoice for accounting purposes.
Why we collect it
To quote, schedule and carry out the work you have asked us to do, and to comply with our legal obligations to retain financial records.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with: our accountant for tax purposes; HMRC if legally required; and a payment processor if you pay by card.
How long we keep it
Job records are retained for six years to meet UK accounting requirements, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to see what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it (subject to our legal retention obligations), and complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
